TOC Europe took place in Hamburg – Germany in June 2016. The RMM team presented the innovative
AUCOS system to national and international visitors.
TOC Europe 2016 Hamburg/Germany
The event is a platform for port, terminal operating and shipping companies as well as forwarders. The exhibitors present latest developments and system
solutions for port and crane technology. The exhibition`s focus is on port subjects. TOC Europe has emerged to be one of the most important events for the
sector. RMM Metternich Mechatronik presented the AUCOS system to the visitors. A development for an automatic system for transmission of the media:
air, power and data between truck and trailer.
The unanymous positive feedback from our customers and visitors plus now more than 600.000 problem-free couplings and uncouplings each during test
runs confirm the high effectiveness and operation reliability of the AUCOS system.

presented
the
innovative
AUCO
system
to
international visitors.
AUCOS
is
the
only
system
in
the
world
to
couple
a
truck
and
trailer
fully
automatically.
By
automatically
connecting
the
air,
power
and
data
lines
at
the
moment
of
coupling,
the
driver
can
remain
in
the
cab
throughout
the
entire
process, achieving a significant increase in productivity.
Every
AUCOS
system
is
“made
in
Germany”
and
is
subjected
to
a
complex
final
test.

will
only
be
delivered
to
our
customers
if
this runs without errors:

The
TOC
has
developed
into
a

supply

technical content and a platform for stakeholders from all positions in the cargo chain.
Our

presented
AUCOS
Coup
to
the
Asian
market
for
the
first
time.
The
fully
automatic
coupling
system
for
transferring
air,
electricity
and
media
between
truck
and
trailer
was
very
well
received
and
the
full-size
model
(pictured
above)
was
able
to
clearly
convey
to
visitors
the
functionality
and
advantages of the system.
During
the
associated
TECH
TOC
conference,
which
acts
as
a
forum
for
stakeholders
of
the
entire
container
supply
chain
to
learn,
discuss
and
network,
AUCOS-Systems
was
able
to
make
its
contribution
with
the
innovative
AUCOS
Coup
and
present
a
solution
that
has
an
enormous
impact
brings
with
it
an
increase
in
efficiency.
Our
customers, e.g. B. LBCT in the USA or GCT in Canada describe AUCOS Coup as reliable and effective.

AUCOS system
AUCOS-Systems GmbH was founded in 2018 by Rüdiger Metternich in Buchholz in
Nordheide. AUCOS-Systems is the sole sales company for the various technical
systems developed by RMM, Metternich Mechatronik GmbH, which serve to optimize
technical equipment relating to the horizontal transport of containers.
The main product is AUCOS-Coup, the automatic coupling between truck and trailer,
which has been in use and patented at various terminals worldwide since 2010.
Another worldwide new development is AUCOS-Lock, the automatic locking of the
containers on the chassis. In addition, other components such as AUCOS-Leg are in
development.
